Process and PaymentS
To send you freewheeling to a surprise destination, we charge a simple service fee. The fee is based on how many people are in your group and whether or not you want us to book your flights or other transportation.

Provide us more about your travel goals in this form:
We’ll contact you to set up a brief phone call (plan for 30 minutes), where we’ll chat through your budget and interests. We want to get a sense of what kind of destination will bring you the most joy! We’ll also talk through when you’re traveling, if you’d like us to book your flights, and when exactly you’d like to receive your surprise.
After we chat, we’ll get into research mode and find flights to a place we think you’ll love!
If you want us to book your flights, we’ll book them and send you an invoice for the cost of the flights + service fee. We’ll send your surprise “game plan” in a secure online document on a timeline you’re comfy with!
If you don’t want us to book your flights, we’ll send you an invoice for the service fee and once you’ve paid, we’ll immediately deliver your surprise destination and recommended flight info via secure online document so you can book your own flights.
Note: all freewheel services DO NOT INCLUDE LODGING.***
How will we get there?
Transportation Options
Most of the time, we’ll book you a flight to your destination. If you’re opposed to flying, your budget doesn’t have space for flights, or you’d simply like to try something new, there are lots of other ways to go on an adventure.
If you’d prefer ground transportation, let us know. We’d love to send you freewheeling by train, boat, car, or in a fully furnished camper van.
What’s a surprise “Game Plan”?

If you’d like, we’ll book your transportation to a place we think you’ll love (flights, train, and/or rental car).
The “Game Plan” will give you plenty of ideas about things to see in the area of your surprise destination. We’ll include photos and links to places or things we think you won’t want to miss!
If you’d like, we can recommend a place to stay that we think you’ll like in your budget, but we will NOT BOOK YOUR LODGING.***

How will we get around while we’re there?
Rental Car, Bikes, Public Transportation
We’ll give you the option to have a rental car booked ahead of time. Many freewheelers like to play this part by ear — depending on where they end up, they may take rideshare/taxi, public transportation, walk, or rent a bike.
That being said, sometimes it’s nice to have the assurance of a decently priced rental car ready for you when you land! If you’d like we’ll make a reservation for you and include it on your “game plan” at no extra cost. You’ll pay when you pick up the car at the agency.
Where will we sleep?

You get to book your own lodging*** after we reveal your surprise destination!

What will we do?
Activity and Relaxation
Most freewheelers like to find their flow of activity and relaxation on their own once they arrive somewhere.
If you’d like us to, we can reserve or book one activity, tour, concert, or spa service for you if there’s something very specific you know you’ll want to do.

What better way to bond with your kiddos than to experience some surprise and explore new places together?! Let us know if you’re planning to bring anyone under the age of 18 on your freewheeling adventure so we can tailor our recommendations to be fun for everyone.

“Degree of Surprise”
Some people prefer the element of TOTAL surprise and want their surprise destination on the day of departure.
If that’s not you, let us know, we can deliver your surprise at any time you’re comfortable with.
Another option if you’d like the actual destination to be a last minute surprise, but want to know what to pack, we can give you a hint at any point. We can tell you what activities or weather you might find at your surprise destination and let you know if you need to pack a parka or sandals.
Can I tell you where I do not want to go?
Location Preferences & Your “DO Not Fly List”
We understand that there are some places you simply cannot or will not visit. Whether it be for spiritual reasons, personal safety, or because you’ve already been there a million times, we absolutely respect your wishes to avoid certain places. We’ll ask you for a list of specific places you don’t want to go before we book anything.
